The village of “Berdemiaros” is situated 6.5 kilometers from the port of Tinos. The island is accessible by boat from the ports of Piraeus and Rafina with daily departures all year round. The duration of the trip is four hours by ferry and one and a half hour by high speed boats. There is no airport on the island. However, there are local thirty-minute (30 min) flights from Athens to Myconos or Syros and from there a twenty-minute trip to Tinos by ferry. There are also international charter flights to Myconos from many European cities.
